The Singapore Youth Chinese Orchestra (SYCO) is a group of highly talented young musicians between the ages of 13 to 25 years old. It provides a platform for young talents to display their musical talents, and the SYCO students are ready to flaunt the results of a year´s work. Under the baton of SCO Music Director Tsung Yeh and young and up-and-coming conductor, SCO acting assistant conductor Yao Shen Shen, familiar favorites such as The General´s Command, In Search of the Roots of the Ancient Pagoda Tree and Bumper Harvest Worship are part of the concert offerings. The SCO will also join this youth wing in the finale piece Gada Meilin Symphonic Poem.
