JIALE HERE!!

muahahahahahhs.
my first time blog in a orchestra blog.
what should i say??
-.- ILOVETHEBANNER!!
.....
just that i wish that everyone could come punctually for every practice
considering that our standards arent up to the expectations of many yet.
but still.
the juniors. you all had improved and practised.
that everyone could see.
but some of you did not practise to what you actually are capable of.
you all should set a target for yourself.
that after a week of practise you should attain a certain level.
something like that
but don't push yourself too hard.
don't stress yourself also
just try the very best.

LOL. i sound like i am giving a lecture. -.-

edited: to the very please of Mr. Cia Sigit.

In the effort to promote the appreciation of Performing Arts in school, we will be putting up Casual Lunchtime Concert" " fortnightly. The Performing Arts groups will be kickstarting this lunchtime the concert series since this is what we do best in the AI community. Thereafter the “stage” will be opened to any interested musicians in the AI community who wish to showcase their talents.

The following are some guidelines to take note when preparing:
1. Groups can be in the form of small ensembles of about 2 to 8 people (E.g. Percussion ensemble, brass quartet, pipa duet, male Acapella group, etc.)

2. Solo performances are encouraged for competent members

3. Any pieces such as pop songs can be performed. They need not be pieces given by instructors. (Approach with your teachers-in-charge or myself if in doubt)

4. Time: Wednesdays @ 2.15pm (fortnightly), starting 15 August 2007
Venue: Outside general office (No microphones required as the natural acoustics of the
enclosed area is the best)
Duration: About 5 to 10 minutes per group (1-2 pieces)

Please give the details to Sigit latest by 1st august. Thank you. Sec 1s are encourage to join. For more information, please find our teacher-in-charge.

Welcome
Hello, this blog belongs to Ahmad Ibrahim Sec's Chinese Orchestra. :)
This is just another platform where we gather our members, so please do not leave nonsensical comments behind.
Thanks, and enjoy your stay!

About Us
AI Chinese Orchestra (AICO) which is still growing strong till today, has been under the baton of accomplished erhu musician Mr Ng Seng Hong and many other experienced instructors. AICO aims to bring out the full potential in all of its members.

No orchestra can be considered a performing group if the members do not go on stage and spread the love for music through performances. Therefore, AICO has been very actively participating in various activities each year. This provides an opportunity for each section to display their talents, for every member of the orchestra to gain valuable performing experience, and to showcase to the public their progress.
